For Singapore’s National Day Parade 2022, the creative team needed stage visuals that would fill a massive 60m LED screen. The challenge was to design a sequence around the theme of ‘Speed and Movement,’ while celebrating Singapore’s cultural roots and modern progress. As the parade also marked the end of the pandemic, the goal was to radiate positivity and fun energy to capture both celebration and renewal.

While this animation was just one small part of the larger spectacle, it was a super fun project to contribute to. Huge kudos to the entire team!

The second half of the motion was designed to capture the speed and movement of the song, matching it with energetic visuals that bring excitement and climax.

Process Video

The animation process is all about experiments, testing out which effects works and just simply browsing all the effects library, and researching what it does and can it be applied to the visual.
